British Columbia PNP

Last month, the province of British Columbia issued 3,100 new nominations to the candidates who are already in the Express Entry pool.

Out of the total 3,100 nominations, nearly 1990 nominations were issued to candidates through the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) stream. 936 nominations were issued to international graduates of eligible post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.

As per the statistics (see below table), there has been an increase of 750 and 1200 nominations respectively in the same streams when compared to the volume of nominations issued in the last 2 years – 2017 and 2018.

Express Entry is the primary source of skilled workers immigration to Canada. Express Entry is used by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to select candidates for Federal Skilled Migration as well as Provincial Skilled Migration (PNPs).
